Dear Postcard Club,
A handful of months ago I asked my friend Emma if she wanted to go to a new weekly drop-in at a community darkroom I’d seen posted on Instagram. I showed up with a roll of 120 film of self portraits I photographed earlier that day in my bedroom, and a faint memory from high school of how to develop film. We were warmly greeted and gently reminded how to develop negatives using b&w chemicals. I was hooked and have returned every Wednesday since.
